Cyphernaut - Parts of The Body Multiple Choice Game
This is a multiple choice Flash game. Arrows will point to a part of the body and four possible choices for that face part will be presented. The player must choose the correct answer from the four choices presented. If the choice is correct, the selected box will turn green, a chime will sound and the player will be unable to pick any boxes. If the choice is wrong, the selected box will turn red, a buzzer will sound and the player will be unable to choose that box again. Use the combo box to select another language and the choice boxes will be presented in the language chosen. The player must then again choose the correct answer from the four choices presented. Please note that the presentation order of the body parts is shuffled with every new language selection. The choices are also randomly placed each time the player advances to the next or previous face part. The player may cycle through the parts indefinitely. Languages covered in this game include English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese(Simplified), Japanese and Korean.
Pronunciation guides for each word are also provided for Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. If the language is Russian, the stressed syllable appears in uppercase letters.
Example: cloud -> облако (OB-la-ka). The ob is stressed.
*Important Note : It may be necessary to install support for East Asian languages like Chinese, Japanese and Korean. The following links provide instructions for installing East Asian languages on a computer running Windows so that the games will properly display Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
Seven of the eleven body parts can either be singular or plural. For these body parts, the singular is presented first followed by a slash and then the plural, i.e. arm/arms. In Russian, the pronunciation is provided for the singular only. Generally speaking, there are no plural forms for words in Chinese, Japanese and Korean, although there are exceptions in Chinese. In Korean, you can add the suffix -dŭl to a noun to make it plural but usually this is omitted.
Helpful Hint : It should be noted that in Russian and Japanese, the word for leg is the same as the word for foot. Also in Russian, the word for arm is the same as the word for hand.
