Cyphernaut - Fruit Match Flash Game
The rules for this Flash game are pretty simple. Just drag the picture of the fruit to the box which contains the correct word that represents the fruit. If the choice is correct, the box will turn green, a chime will sound and the player will be unable to move the fruit anymore. If the choice is wrong, a buzzer will sound and the fruit will return to its starting position. Use the combo box to select another language and the fruit will reset to the left hand side of the workmat. The player must again match the fruit to the correct word representation on the right hand side. Please note that the order of the word rectangles on the right hand side is shuffled with every new language selection. Languages covered in this game include English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese(Simplified), Japanese and Korean.
Pronunciation guides for each word are also provided for Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. If the language is Russian or Portuguese, the stressed syllable appears in uppercase letters.
Example: cloud -> облако (OB-la-ka). The ob is stressed.
UPDATE 12-10-09 Replaced indefinite articles with definite articles in translations for Spanish, German, French, Portuguese and Italian. For more information on indefinite and definite articles visit this page. Also a few words in Portuguese and Italian have been changed to more appropriate translations.
